We begin our Autumn Yellowstone Photo Adventure by venturing into the park each morning from our West Yellowstone base.
This photo adventure includes 3 nights of accommodations in West Yellowstone, Montana, followed by 2 nights in Gardiner, Montana. We are also including group dinners every night at a different one of Jay’s favorite restaurants.
The photographic opportunities matched with amazing food, guarantees that our Autumn Yellowstone Photo Adventure is a once-in-a-lifetime photographic experience.
Fly into Bozeman, MT, Idaho Falls, ID or Jackson, WY and drive to West Yellowstone, Montana. You should plan on arriving in time to join Jay and the group at dinner that evening at a local restaurant for the start of our Autumn Yellowstone Photo Adventure.
We will depart fairly early each day to the west entrance to Yellowstone National Park. Spending the day exploring Yellowstone looking for wildlife and landscape photo opportunities. This will be an all-day affair bringing bag lunches and snacks. Our photographic journey will cover sunrise and sunset. At the end of the day we will return back to West Yellowstone and have another meal at one of the local restaurants.
Check out of our West Yellowstone hotel and travel to Gardiner, Montana. We will shoot photos during the daylight hours prior to checking into our hotel, and then have dinner as a group in Gardiner.
We will spend the bulk of the day photographing in Yellowstone. Then return back to Gardiner for dinner.
We will head out into Yellowstone National Park for another sunrise, then head back to the hotel to check out and depart for home.

Jay will offer up shooting advice during each photo situation, but will leave you alone to shoot unless you specifically need and ask for advice. He will also look at and critique your images, both on a group and/or individual basis if people request it. That also goes for any software/processing questions you have as well.
We leave no photographic stone unturned for this trip. We stop to photograph every promising wildlife scenario and every potential landscape photo. Our goal is to maximize your shooting experience every day that you are with us. Previous years have provided us with photos of wolves, coyotes, foxes, river otters, beavers, swans, bison, grizzly bears, eagles, and hundreds of unique winter landscapes.
