We gladly accepted their invitation by highlighting some of Jay’s favorite winter images that he captured both last season and this season during the 4 day takeover. The Leavenworth Mountain Association invited Jay and 4 other photographers to Leavenworth, Washington, to compete against each other with the final goal of producing a slideshow that highlighted mountain culture. Each photographer had 72 hours to photograph and one day to edit and produce a 2-5 minute slideshow that told a specific story that they had discovered during their visit.
We spent 2 months producing the photographs for the mountain biking the Tetons article in Bike Magazine. Angle of Repose written by Kim Cross was 17 pages long, included 20 photos that Jay shot, and landed the cover of the May Issue of Bike Magazine. GoPro along with Whole Foods, Mammut, and Wagner Custom Skis, hired us to create images that could be used online for a social media campaign with Facebook.
